Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Maintain: Contribute to the development and upkeep of our flagship web site, delivering features that delight our users.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to understand requirements and implement features with precision, quality, and attention to detail.
- Integrate: Partner with backend teams to seamlessly integrate APIs and ensure smooth end-to-end functionality.
- Learn and Grow: Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and gain valuable insights from senior team members.
- Write Exceptional Code: Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on performance, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up-to-date with the latest web development best practices and actively contribute to team discussions on improving the site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Production-level development using React
- Strong skills in web technologies e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, HTML, and CSS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the design, development, documentation, and deployment of client-side software;
- Production-level application development experience using Node.js
Nice to have:
- Worked with automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with AWS platform architecture: EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, Apache Kafka, and S3
- Experience with event driven architectures
- Familiarity and troubleshooting experience with observability tools like Datadog
