KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Social Media Strategy: Partner with the director to develop and oversee a comprehensive social media strategy for TikTok and IG Reels that aligns with our brand's values and objectives. Continuously evaluate and adapt the strategy to stay ahead in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
  • Content Creation: Brainstorm and generate content ideas for TikTok and IG Reels. Capture content first-hand and/or work with internal and external production partners to establish a pipeline of social video content.
  • Platform Management: Manage and optimize our presence on TikTok and partner with another social media manager on Instagram. Stay up to date with platform updates and trends to maximize engagement.
  • Audience Engagement: Foster and nurture relationships with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and feedback promptly. Encourage user-generated content and meaningful interactions.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance metrics. Provide regular reports and insights, highlighting successes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar that ensures a consistent and cohesive brand presence across TikTok and Instagram.
  • Trend Spotting: Stay current with influencer marketing trends to identify opportunities for innovative content and marketing strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are a compelling storyteller; a strong collaborator; and interested in influencer marketing.
  • You have a strong understanding of content creators and social media trends
  • You have experience creating content for TikTok
  • You have strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • You are a self-starter and creative problem solver
  • You bring a positive attitude to any challenge
  • You are interested in expanding your skillset to include content marketing and the management of a blog
  • You have experience creating content at an agency or brand

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience in social media marketing and content creation
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
