Job Summary:
Rakuten Rewards is looking for a dynamic Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about crafting exceptional consumer experiences and driving significant business outcomes. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies that effectively introduce our products to the market and resonate with our members.
You will collaborate closely with Product teams to define and communicate the products' value propositions and bring these to life through impactful marketing campaigns, created in partnership with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Product Design, Consumer Insights, Creative Strategy, Digital Strategy, Email and Marketing Operations).
About You:
You are a data-driven marketer with a passion for diving deep into analytics to extract trends and insights. Your strategic mindset and thorough understanding of audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, and omnichannel marketing activation allow you to solve complex business challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Lead the product marketing strategy, including GTM planning, creative briefing, and execution across multiple channels such as email, push notifications, in-app messages, and website.
- Market Analysis: Utilize market research to stay ahead of industry trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and understand customer preferences within the consumer technology space.
- Content Creation: Partner with creative and product design teams to develop compelling marketing materials for product launches and enhancements, ensuring clear communication with members.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with analytics and data teams to measure campaign performance, conduct tests, and monitor funnel trends. Ensure seamless data integration and event tracking with marketing systems like CDP and ESP.
- Tools & Processes: Adapt to and efficiently use various organizational tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com) and understand the processes of each cross-functional partner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization from planning to development of product enhancements, ensuring that all brand messaging and cross-channel communications align with market needs and company goals.
- Leadership: Influence product teams by incorporating marketing perspectives and ensuring a comprehensive member experience from initial engagement through to the final reward.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the consumer technology or retail sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with Email/Push technologies is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, retail and e-commerce industries, and relevant KPIs.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Proven capability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Persistence and the ability to see projects through to completion are essential.

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
