This position on the Site Operations Team will contribute to flawless execution, meeting deadlines, and online merchandising to maximize revenue and achieve budgeted targets. The Junior Marketing Operations Specialist will work with multiple teams to ensure the efficient and accurate implementation of site merchandising and partner advertising, contribute to projects that enhance marketing capabilities, and support other team members in delivering high-quality service and results for our partners and members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule merchandising placements on site, contributing to site performance and maximizing top- and bottom-line revenue
  • Use site administration tools to maintain listings for more than 750 merchants and their associated information
  • Execute paid placements and marketing emails booked by our world-class sales team. This includes collecting creative assets, marketing copy, confirming dates and rates with merchants.
  • Ensure all commission increases, bonus requests, and network IO insertions are in place for promotions and paid placements, troubleshooting and following up with merchants and affiliate networks as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - marketing, sales, email, creative, product management, and engineering teams to optimize site and achieve revenue targets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience using online merchandising tools, scheduling online placements
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with web basics (data entry, basic HTML, image formats)
  • Some familiarity with Excel in manipulating and analyzing data
  • Exacting nature, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills

DESIRED

  • Experience working with an email marketing team
  • Experience with affiliate Network portals and reporting tools
  • Experience with database reporting tools
  • Experience with creating slides and presenting results to a team
  • Providing ad hoc translations into French for site copy.

Experience

  • 3-4 years prior work experience in web-based marketing operations and/or merchandising
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
