The position of Accounts Payable Analyst, Rakuten USA, will report to the Rakuten USA Accounts Payable Manager. The primary responsibilities include timely accurate payment processing, reconciliations and reporting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

- Review weekly accounts payable aging reports.
- Verify GL coding and approvals obtained prior to payment.
- Payment of invoices by the due date.
- Work with accounting team to apply payment to the payable ledger.
- Maintain policies and procedures concerning T&E and payables.
- Assist with 1099 annual reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to the accounts payable process.
- Ensure JSOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintain JSOX documentation of the Payables process, controls, and risk control matrix. Remediate findings identified from compliance and internal audits to enhance the control environment.
- Other duties and special project, as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience operating in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting.
- Experience with Coupa and Oracle.

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
USD $38,556.00 - $65,448.00 annually
