Job Summary:
When you're a part of the Client Services team, as the Account Manager you'll get exposed to a variety of different brands such as retail, beauty and luxury goods and network with publishers to solidify relationships on behalf of your clients. You will manage the day-to-day execution of their marketing programs and design the overall strategy for growing account revenue. You will leverage your smarts, your client's brands and Rakuten Advertising's network to drive results
In this role, you will be responsible for relationship management with an assigned portfolio of clients. You will serve as a client liaison throughout the delivery of client service engagements or outsourced solutions. You will be strategically focused and responsible for maintaining client satisfaction by ensuring consistent and proactive communications with clients while completing tasks that support the overall management of client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates somewhat complex client interactions, ensuring timely responses and resolution of moderately challenging requests or issues.
- Analyzes somewhat complex client feedback and data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, informing strategic decisions.
- Develops somewhat complex client engagement plans, tailoring approaches to meet specific client needs and align with business objectives.
- Implements client management best practices and processes to enhance satisfaction and streamline workflows.
- Identifies opportunities to strengthen client relationships through proactive communication and value-added solutions.
- Communicates key insights, updates, and recommendations to internal stakeholders, facilitating alignment and collaboration.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of client relationship strategies, recommending adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Documents client interactions and outcomes in CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for reference and reporting.
- Recommends process improvements or tools to support client relationship management initiatives and enhance team productivity.
- Oversee all program implementation by developing and tracking client project plans.
- Interact with clients daily via phone and email for tactical requests.
- Set, meet and exceed aggressive revenue goals for your clients. Provide strategic advice to increase each client's ROI. Develop, maintain and extend relationships with your portfolio of clients.
- Organize all activities with the Client Services team and other cross-functional teams at Rakuten Advertising, (Technology, Marketing, Sales, etc.).
- Serve as the guru for Rakuten Advertising's proprietary software and support your clients to make sure they know the tools and resources available to them.
Qualifications:

- Analytical and strategic marketing skills.
- The ability to prioritize and strategize based on company's goals
- A desire to think creatively, solve problems and use professional judgment.
- Tech savvy; comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint for client-facing reports, analysis and presentations. Exemplary written and oral presentation and a talent for presenting
- 3+ years of online marketing/direct marketing experience with a focus on client service, (it's a plus if you have knowledge/familiarity with Affiliate Marketing).
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-4 years relevant work experience Required
- 5-7 years Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Preferred

Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
