Overview

We’re looking for an IT Applications Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join Rain Bird. You will primarily be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation and operational support of Rain Bird Oracle Financials (ERP Cloud) applications.

 

This role will initially focus on supporting Rain Bird Finance business partners and System Integrator with the in-flight ERP Implementation, and transitioning to the steady state supporting the delivery of requested enhancements to Oracle Financials and integrations with other applications used within Finance such as Concur, Oracle EPM, 3rd Party or other Internal applications. This position requires an individual who will be hands-on functional with configuration experience, strong tactical decision maker and leader of day-to-day operations to meet our business objectives.

You should have a thorough understanding of the overall business goals, finance business processes of the organization as well as a strong ability to translate requirements into technical solutions. You should have deep experience in business analysis, product development, as well as a well-rounded comprehension of business processes across business verticals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Scope definition, Functional and technical requirements, system configuration, data integrity, and all system-related policies and procedures
  • Create and present key requirements artifacts: scope documents, use cases, business process mapping workflows, and Application gap analysis
  • Configure, Develop and test functionality and rollout of customizations, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases, and system integrations based on user/business needs
  • Perform technical and system administration tasks such as integrating data with multiple systems, as needed: UKG, Concur, Oracle EPM, and other 3rd party or Internal applications
  • Provide front-line support regarding all aspects of Oracle Financials and data maintenance
  • Be a point of contact for all technical activities regarding Oracle-related initiatives
  • Manage system adoption and satisfaction, including training users or creating training docs on the Oracle application relevant to their jobs, and provide support to users and maintain proper system access.
  • Perform daily administrative and support tasks
  • Maintain and date systems documentation
  • Perform regular data audits and resolve data integrity issues
  • Document and follow formal policies, procedures, and protocols for changes, customization, standards, usage, etc.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (IT business/computer science, Finance or Accounting) with 8+ years functional/product management experience
  • Experience with 2 + lifecycle Oracle Financials Global implementations (ERP Cloud preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Global Oracle EBS R12.x and/or Oracle Financials Cloud (General Ledger, SLA, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management, Assets etc..) including Period end planning and closing
  • A detailed understanding of common industry standard business practices related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing, Tax), and Support (Case Management)
  • Experience working with Finance & Accounting teams, partnering with them and driving projects to completion that supports business goals and objectives
  • Excellent communications skills that can be called on both with Finance team as well as within IT and across the enterprise
  • Proven project management experience i.e. direct work and manage projects and progress
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Integrations of Internal or third-party systems with Oracle Financials Cloud

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Act as lead to a small team or people management experience is a plus
  • Experience with Project Accounting, Concur, Oracle EPM with Integrations is a plus
  • Global Implementations with Multi country/currency experience is a plus
  • Certifications in Oracle Financials Cloud is a plus
