Production Operator I

Overview

The Production Operator I is an experienced operator who can assist with production, quality, inventory, and packaging. Operate injection molding machines and maintain production flow in accordance with the work methods and standards established for the assigned area; Report production, check parts, and assure the quality of parts produced, assist with inventory cycle count and scrap recording. Follow 5S procedures and safety standards. Possess working knowledge of manufacturing safety, PPE, packaging, and the ability to identify production issues.

Responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Enthusiastic and self-starter
• Excellent team player
• Operate pallet jacks.
• Able to lift weight of up to 30lbs.

Qualifications

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical (electrical, mechanical) education at junior college level
• Knowledge in Injection Molding Machines, Quality, Manufacturing and 5S
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and have a can-do attitude
