Overview
The Import Export Specialist participates in planning of Import and Export Operations, Logistics Process and support in compliance for reconciliation and data base administration. Reviews duties, tariffs, price conversions and audits internal processes to ensure compliance with federal and international regulations. Oversees compliance along the supply chain as a key contributor and utilize experience and knowledge to solve day to day operational setbacks.
Responsibilities
- Logistics Routes Implementation.
- Supply Chain Security Programs as Key Contributor.
- Evaluates and analyzes import/export SOP, KPIs and Key Deliverables.
- Cross Border Operations paperwork processing.
- Yearly US and MX Customs projects.
- Internal Clients Service Follow Up.
- US and MX Tariff Review and Classification.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade Compliance, International Business, Logistics or similar.
- Recent and updated Knowledge of Mexican import laws, import tariff classifications and rulings.
- +4 years of experience in maquiladora or distribution, annex 24 software development firm or shelter environment.
- English Language with professional working proficiency.
- Strong networking, influencing & communication skills.
- Analytical skills and ability to shape analytical findings into meaningful insights for the business.
- Open to develop and integrate continues improvement on day-to-day task and responsibilities.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree.
- USMCA / TMEC knowledge application and validations.
- Knowledge Mexico Trade Software in relation to Annex 24th & 30th
- Knowledge in import duty preferences (USMCA, PROSEC, 8th rule,etc.).
