The Software Engineer Role

 

Step into the role of Software Engineer, where your coding expertise will shine as you contribute to the development and maintenance of innovative software solutions.

 

You’ll collaborate closely with product designers, stakeholders, and fellow engineers to ensure that the final product meets high standards of quality and functionality.

 

Your responsibilities will include producing technical designs, coding, testing, and documentation, with the autonomy to own your deliverables from start to finish.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Joining a team of developers owning access control and identity management services in a multi-tenant SaaS solution supporting thousands of signups per month.
  • Participating in all aspects of software engineering including designing, planning, coding, verifying, integrating, releasing, monitoring, supporting and maintaining.
  • Collaborating with managers, architects, site reliability engineers, quality assurance verifiers, and security office specialists to advance the team roadmap.
  • Reviewing architectural proposals to ensure a sound solution that doesn’t compromise expansion, scale, performance and robustness.
  • Utilizing an Agile software engineering process to continuously deliver and deploy quality and feature improvements in a cloud environment.
  • Engaging in sprint cycle around planning with estimation, daily scrum, demo and retrospective.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Experience in Software development, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, building production-quality software in large-scale data environments.
  • Strong coding ability.
  • Passionate problem-solving mindset.
  • Desire to learn and grow.
  • Building relationships and coordinating with other teams.
  • Understanding and creating best practices and standards.
  • Must have technical skills: A good knowledge of Java, Springboot, PostgreSQL, Spring Security.
  • Nice to have technical skills: Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Solace, MongoDB, OAuth, good understanding of the microservices architecture, GoLang.
  • Bonus: Good understanding of SCIM protocol, Spring authorization server.

Nantes Office, Suresnes Office or France remote
