The Senior Mobile Software Architect role:

We're seeking an innovative Senior Mobile Software Architect with a passion for designing cutting-edge solutions. You'll lead the architecture of high-performing mobile applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of industry trends.

You will join the GeoAnalytics & Mobile team which develops state of the art visualizations and geographic features analytics capabilities in Qlik Sense and the native Mobile application. We work in a SaaS environment with a micro-service architecture, using primarily JavaScript, React and TypeScript.

• You will provide leadership and technology vision for architecture direction for our mobile applications
• You will develop proof-of-concept projects to validate new architecture
• You get to collaborate with other developers during all aspects of the process. including design, implementation and verification.
• We listen to customer feedback actively and have the ability to act on it quickly. 
   

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

We are primarily a full-stack team and looking for a Mobile Architect. You will work tightly with highly engaged co-workers in your team with a lot of responsibility and influence. We take pride in driving and nurturing an inner source development philosophy, sharing our work and engaging with our developer community directly through tools like GitHub and Slack. We are committed to an awesome developer experience.
 

• Be the technical leader for design, implementation and interface decisions regarding mobile E2E solutions
• Innovate and stay updated with the latest mobile technologies..
• Guide development teams and ensure best practices.
• Communicate and collaborate with developers and architects across the global organization. 

We’re looking for a teammate with the following experience:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience in mobile architecture.
• Strong knowledge of iOS/Android platforms and interest the mobile community
• Define architectural standards and tools for development initiatives and design solutions taking into account scalability, availability, reliability, stability, security and performance
• Design or Modify existing solution for better performance optimization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar).
   

The location for this role is:
