JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a SDET/Test Architect with a solid background in quality assurance and software testing. Hybrid role combines technical proficiency with testing expertise to ensure delivery of reliable, high-quality systems. The ideal candidate should possess sufficient programming skills to design automated testing solutions and troubleshoot system issues effectively. This role also entails the experience of a Test Architect that will be responsible for mentoring junior testers and ensuring those are following testing best practices.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute robust comprehensive testing strategies/plans that align with system requirements and project goals, and to ensure the quality and reliability of software products and the testing lifecycle.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including automated and manual testing.
- ISTQB certification a plus
- Proven experience as a Test Architect and Automation resource or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and diligence.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Proficiency in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
- Proven experience as a Test Architect or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with development, QA, and product teams effectively.
- Strong and effective communication skills for clear reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools and processes for accurate documentation and resolution.
- Ability to mentor and train team members in manual and automated testing methodologies
- Skills in evaluating and improving testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Update-to-date knowledge of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends.
- Strong knowledge of software testing tools, and processes.
- Strong knowledge and year of experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., C#, Javascript) for automation purposes.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot complex issues and attention to detail.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a hybrid position, combining both in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility while maintaining collaboration and productivity.
Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000 depending upon experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).
