INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

Hybrid work arrangement - (1-2 times per month in office). Position located in either Englewood, CO or Coppell, TX.

JOB SUMMARY:
Will be responsible for coordinating and delivering consistent quality learning experiences to all employees. The scope of the learning materials will range from process specific information to general industry overviews. Primary responsibilities include the development, implementation and maintenance of training programs/modules for Pulte Financial Services with a focus on Title Insurance. Training includes New Hire Orientation, Title Insurance, systems and applications (SoftPro, Simplifile, etc.), Internet/Intranet, Customer Service, and any additional projects and/or programs as assigned. Ensures activities undertaken in performing the responsibilities of this position are in compliance with all state and regulatory requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create innovative, learner-focused training materials and programs tailored to the Mortgage Title Insurance industry including process overviews, systems training, compliance requirements, Customer Service, and any additional projects and/or programs as assigned. Must be able to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines.
  • Liaison with ISD (Information Systems Department) to track new technology enhancements and provide training support when needed.
  • Communicates in a clear and concise manner in the performance of job functions; handles complex situations. Acts as a training consultant on various training needs of the organization. Provides leadership to new employees during new hire orientation training.
  • Provides consulting to multiple departments on performance and training needs. Conducts needs assessments, identifies solutions, and designs training strategies for individual projects. Develops and implements measurement and evaluation strategies. Manages training projects from start to finish.

  • Contributes through specific expertise at the department, function, or location level.
  • Contacts and communicates with business partners.
  • No supervisory responsibility.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Without direct reports

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Certifications in instructional design or training delivery preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field, preferably in title insurance.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations as they pertain to Title Insurance training programs.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and multimedia content creation
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora a plus
  • Development of distance learning modules
  • Demonstrable training skills and experience; training remote employees a plus
  • Ability to facilitate small and large group quality learning experiences
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Budgeted Salary Range: $75,600 to $85,000 annually depending upon experience.

This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.

Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).
