Prudential is currently seeking a highly motivated executive to lead our Strategic Relationship Management organization. The ideal candidate has a background in wealth management, a data and analytics orientation, and history of innovative execution in leading high-performance teams which influence key decisions in our broker-dealer firms.
As the Vice President, Relationship Management you will be responsible for leading a team of Strategic Relationship Managers who in turn are responsible for creating and managing relationships with broker-dealer firms to help grow their business while promoting Prudential's Annuities solutions. This team is accountable for creating market share for Prudential and deepening relationships in key firms. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving measurable growth with a deep understanding of the connectively of planning, solutions, and outcomes within the wealth management space and how to optimally place the relevant products driving greater retirement security.

In this role, you will:
- Cultivate and drive opportunities (current, new, co-creating) with key clients, partners and stakeholders at the executive level with the primary goal of identifying and driving strategic business growth and fostering long term loyalty
- Responsible for all account management activities and C-Suite firm relationships within the Advisor, Bankwire, and Independent Broker-dealer channels
- Partner across the broader organization to translate data insights into actionable strategies and align analytics initiatives with overall business objectives
- Lead, manage, and coach a team of Strategic Relationship Managers who are responsible for the development of strategic business plans with key distribution customers as well as uncovering new and differentiated distribution opportunities leading to incremental market share and revenue
- Support the team's efforts to grow, develop, and manage their territory's activities and profitability through sales execution, marketing campaigns, business plans, and customer relationship management
- Lead the team to communicate and help drive the execution of the Prudential sales, marketing and service organizations to ensure execution of firms' priorities are in alignment with Prudential offerings and value proposition
- Work alongside Prudential Sales Leadership Executives as well as the Prudential Product team to help identify trends and influence product design and strategy
- Review and participate in the implementation planning for roll out of new Sales and/or Broker-dealer technology, and process improvements acting as a liaison between Partner firms and team of relationship managers
What you'll need:
- Deep understanding and experience working in the wealth management industry with well-developed understanding of industry landscape, market trends, and key players relevant to Prudential business.
- Demonstrable use of data and technology resources to drive insights and innovative solutions within firm partners
- Bring an enterprise-wide lens to client opportunities and solutions that address the needs of Retirement Strategies, Life Insurance and Asset Management
- Ability to identify and understand complex business needs and work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, product development, and operations to ensure seamless execution of client strategies and delivery of value
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive; willingness and ability to operate in a fast paced and, at times, ambiguous environment
- Proven track record of strong strategic firm/Broker Dealer/Bankwire relationships
- Strategic connector between the Distribution team and Strategic Relationship Managers, bridging firm's goals and growth to execution of Prudential's sales team
- Coaching and mentoring of Relationship Managers
- A thorough understanding of the financial services industry and a strong knowledge of the specific distribution channel(s), Firms, Advisors and IMOs
- A thorough and strong knowledge of Annuities Products
- 10-12 years of outstanding leadership in Annuities Distribution
- Ability to travel 50% or more
- Series 6 or 7 and 24 or 26
