Your Team

As a Vice President, Chief Product Owner - Financial Management Technology you will partner with product owners, tech leads, engineers, and delivery professionals to build, deliver, and continuously improve Prudential's technology capabilities supporting Financial Management Transformation. You will be a thought leader, working to define the technology strategy and roadmap supporting this critical initiative while ensuring continuous delivery of technology solutions as the day-to-day technology leader accountable for this initiative. This will require close collaboration with FM Transformation CPOs, Corporate Technology Business Technology Officers, Chief Data Office (CDO), infrastructure (CTO) and architecture functions. We're looking for an inspirational technical leader excited about the prospect of using technology to transform Prudential's Financial Management function.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Provide dedicated technology leadership to the Financial Management Transformation initiative.
  • Define the technology vision, success criteria, and high-level roadmap for the products supporting FM Transformation.
  • Partner with Prudential's architecture team to implement and refine reference architecture and solution architecture patterns for the products in your portfolio.
  • Lead the technology resources to deliver the products in your portfolio, managing dependencies and working in close connection with stakeholders and partners in Financial Management and Technology functions.
  • Ensure the technology organization is supporting FM Transformation effectively and efficiently, with high quality solutions and the right talent to deliver those solutions.
  • Creates and oversees the implementation of guidelines, best practices, and standards for technology solutions within FM Transformation, maintaining alignment with Enterprise standards and guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to financial management technology teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Nurture and help define a culture of inclusion, intense curiosity, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Understand industry trends and innovation potential to anticipate customer needs or business opportunities.
  • Communicate clearly and frequently with stakeholder groups.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large technology teams within Financial Management Domains: Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and/or Investment Management
  • Technical leadership experience with large scale strategic initiatives, $50M+
  • Progressive, relevant experience in leading solution architecture, software development, and engineering teams to deliver technology solutions with global scale.
  • Strong, demonstrated stakeholder, communication and change management skills.
  • Lead and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience building and developing high performing technology product teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Belief in a non-hierarchal structure of collaboration, transparency, and trust.
  • Expert knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
