Your Team

As a Specialist, Business Management on the Platform Services Operational Excellence Team, you will be responsible for delivering and reporting accountability metrics (OKRs), budgeting and forecasting, contract management and partner communications. You will collaborate with corporate centers including finance, audit, compliance, procurement, sourcing, and human resources to enhance Operational Excellence across all Platform Services Products. Your excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, along with strong business insight and a continuous learning focus, will be key to your success.

Newark, NJ hybrid work arrangement: requires a minimum of two days per week in office.

Here is what you can expect on a typical day

  • Perform tasks as assigned and overall tactical support for program execution with opportunities to influence direction and outcomes.
  • Tracks actuals vs. planned program spend across financial reporting cycles, identifying potential issues or areas for attention.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support data driven decisions.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive partner engagement and outreach via email communications, coordination of technical lunch and learns and distribution of critical updates.
  • Duties may include activities in support of audit, compliance, procurement, sourcing and human resources.
  • Work with peers in stakeholder teams to deliver specified work with opportunities for ad hoc development roles.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Proven experience in Business Management or a comparable field.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts and influence others to adopt different viewpoints.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and proficiency in business modeling and documentation.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge continuously through self-initiative and tackling challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in technology-focused organizations.
  • SharePoint and Confluence administration and design highly desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence colleagues and partners without direct reporting lines.
  • Experience with Adobe Marketo is a plus.
  • Familiarity with databases and database concepts.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $92,400.00 to $137,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
