Job Title: Senior Technical Instructional Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Instructional Designer with advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline and deep instructional design expertise being well versed in technology topics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting analysis with highly technical subject matter experts and have robust project management skills. They must be self-directed, have strong PowerPoint presentation skills, and be comfortable presenting to a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement technical training programs using the ADDIE model or similar instructional design models.
  • Utilize Articulate Storyline to create and deliver engaging, interactive, and effective training materials.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of technical skills in collaboration with highly technical subject matter experts to identify training needs and gaps.
  • Evaluate training programs and materials through rigorous quality assurance checks, ensuring content accuracy, instructional soundness, and alignment to business objectives.
  • Conduct post-training evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs and materials and make necessary improvements.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality training programs.
  • Show initiative and work independently, requiring minimal supervision, while also being able to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations and deliver them to a wide variety of audiences, effectively communicating complex technical concepts.
  • Stay updated with latest training methods, tools, and trends in technical instructional design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a senior technical instructional designer- previous financial services experience a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline, PPT, and similar tools.
  • Experience in conducting analysis with highly technical subject matter experts.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design theories and learning principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Highly self-directed and able to manage own time effectively while also collaborating as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is from $107,200.00 to $159,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
