The Role
Prudential is currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Paid Media Specialist to lead the development, execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple channels and markets. This role will collaborate closely with external agency partners and internal media specialists to ensure effective media planning, budget management, vendor negotiations, and performance analysis to drive brand growth. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in media buying, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to develop high-impact campaigns.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis in our Newark, NJ, office. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Act as subject matter expert to formulate cross-channel media plans across global markets, including crafting RFPs, negotiating, plan development, IO execution, and monitoring campaign performance. Experience in B2B is a plus.
- Primarily focused on the PGIM global asset management business, however there will be opportunities to work on cross-business projects i.e. competitive, media landscape, audience insights, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Strategy, Creative, Producers) and external agency partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, execution and optimization of paid media initiatives with broader marketing objectives
- Oversee media budgets and flowcharts, ensuring proper allocation, tracking and reporting, and manage centralized process and spec document
- Collaborate with analytics teams and internal/external stakeholders to assess media performance, compile data-driven insights and support media mix modeling initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging media trends, platforms and best practices to drive innovation in global media strategy
Your Expertise
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a professional advertising position in agency or publisher environment; at least 3-4 years in related media planning role (developing RFPs; preparing presentations and flowcharts; presenting media plans; preparing and understanding digital ad specs; issuing IOs; working with finance on billing reconciliation)
- Strong knowledge of integrated media planning and buying across multiple media platforms channels (digital/programmatic, social, print, broadcast, OOH), including digital technology platforms such as DSPs, programmatic buying, and ad networks, content publisher partners)
- Ability to manage internal and external relationships and expectations through effective communications and organizational skills
- Experience in analysis of data, and ability to convert data into insight-driven campaign reports
- A strong understanding of various media buying and reporting systems (Dart, Prisma, MediaOcean)
- Ability to independently steward multiple tasks concurrently in a deadline-driven environment and strong time management skills
- Ability to work with minimal direction effectively and efficiently with a solution-oriented mindset, can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy as well as time-management and follow-up skills
- Possess clear, concise, and engaging verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel skills with ability to create and use conditional formatting / pivot tables
- Able to assist in the development of client PowerPoint presentations

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $92,400.00 to $137,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
