The Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) market presents a significant growth opportunity for Prudential. Prudential has positioned itself as a market leader and continues to expand resources focusing on the challenges faced by plan sponsors in managing a pension plan. Prudential has completed seven out of the ten largest U.S. PRT transactions on record and approximately $100 billion in PRT transactions since 2012.

The Research & Proposal Specialist role is an integral member of the Pension Risk Transfer Transaction Solutions team. The successful candidate for the role will be focused on owning and maintaining all of the PRT content that we use as part of the PRT sales / bidding process, he or she will be the main point of contact for certain reporting responsibilities (regulatory and management reporting) and be a first worker in managing transactions. This person would work up to being able to be more involved in transactions as they learn on the job, PRT or pension experience not necessarily required but high performing, strong project management skills, willingness to learn is a must. Additionally, the ability to work with different stakeholders across varying levels is required.

He or she will coordinate and work closely with business partners to ensure an appropriately controlled operating environment is in place to respond to inquiries from intermediaries and independent fiduciaries on critical transactions. The ability to build repeatable processes in support of the PRT bidding process is critical and this person will also have the responsibility to develop and maintain SOPs for the team.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence in Newark, NJ, on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. The hiring team is comfortable for the right talent to work remotely from anywhere in the US as well.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $65,900.00 to $102,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
