WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Analyst will join the transactions and asset management team and work on a wide range of transactions including the acquisition of single assets, portfolios and property or development companies; setting-up of joint-ventures and investment platforms. The Analyst will be involved in the full investment process and will assist with both acquisition, asset management (leasing, refurbishment, development) and disposition duties.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Real estate valuation analysis & Excel cash-flow modelling
  • Market research
  • Technical specs and CapEx analyses
  • Performing various analyses to assist in making investment decisions
  • Assisting with legal negotiations, due diligence and execution of transactions
  • Assisting with leasing and execution of refurbishment works
  • Drafting memoranda and presentations for internal and external use
  • Lead junior analyst work throughout the underwriting and transaction phases

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Student from a leading business school, engineering school or university with 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a real estate investment firm
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Passionate about leveraging the latest technologies to improve productivity and using data to make fact-based decisions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing agendas aligned with business strategy
  • Strong communicator with an ability to read a room, convey a message succinctly, and tell a story effectively
  • Excellent English and French communication skills; Spanish is a plus
