What you will do
PGIM Ireland are seeking to hire a 9 month internship for the PGIM Real Estate Loan Services team. The team are responsible for the servicing and asset management of commercial loans originated by PGIM Real Estate (PGIM RE) in the United States. Irish hours will apply from Monday to Friday,
however there is a requirement to be flexible, specifically during peak times. Hours are subject to change in line with role requirements.
What you can expect
- Reserve disbursements - Review of borrower submissions for escrow account withdrawals, and preparation of checks/wires, borrower communication and case resolution.
- Rate Caps - Pricing of Rate Caps on ARM loans, coordination with counter parties to secure pricing quotations, adjustment of bills, preparation of escrow analysis letters and remittance of Rate Cap Provider Payments, along with Rate Cap forecasting and administration.
- Bond Loans - Weekly rate entry, manual bill preparation and administration of Bond Deals.
- Proactively communicate issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multiple areas of the PGIM RE to ensure the highest level of service.
- Anticipate issues that may adversely affect portfolio performance and take action to reduce risks.
- Lead and manage special projects as assigned, as well as propose and drive process enhancements and automation.
- Cultivate both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved for each portfolio function.
- Review policies and procedures and ensure consistency.
What you will bring
- Candidates pursuing a Finance qualification. Qualifications in Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, or Real Estate preferred but not required, we will consider candidates from any discipline once they can demonstrate relevant skillsets.
- Strong financial services acumen
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under challenging time frames
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with various counterparts
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, highly organized and exceptional time management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
What will set you apart?
- Working knowledge/experience of commercial loans or other finance related areas beneficial
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to work with Power BI a plus.
