What you will do

PGIM Real Estate's Business Management group supports the global leadership team in the design and implementation of business operating policies, processes, and long-term strategies. We are seeking a director-level Project Manager to lead the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives, including cutting-edge projects related to establishing a more flexible and scalable information management platform in line with the firm's technology roadmap. The role will support the global COO team in leading teams to identify and implement operating efficiencies, overseeing vendors to implement tools and processes while identifying and mitigating operating risks.

The role will also partner with the business to achieve global strategic priorities by bridging business and functional areas to further automation, increase efficiency, improve the client and employee experience, and modernize our platform. The role will report to the Head of Business Management, which is aligned under the Global COO of PGIM Real Estate

This role provides the opportunity to support the evolution and growth of PGIM Real Estate's business and client base. PGIM Real Estate provides a welcoming and collaborative culture that is committed to developing and retaining talent.

Ideally the candidate will be based in Newark, NJ or New York, NY (with requirement to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week) but we will consider candidates near other PGIM offices.

What you can expect

  • Provide support for and lead project management execution for global strategic initiatives.
  • Provide project management discipline and structure to keep initiatives on schedule and within scope. Leverage fluency in Microsoft tools to maintain project documentation including project plans, issues lists, meeting agendas/notes, and action item trackers.
  • Utilize business writing and story-telling capabilities to create high-quality presentation decks to articulate strategy and direction, facilitate decision-making, and build consensus.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and work with cross-functional team to resolve outstanding issues. Facilitate sessions to bring issues to resolution. Provide / suggest solutions while working collaboratively to reach consensus.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of PGIM Real Estate's business, products, systems, and operations and draw on that knowledge and problem-solving skills to create strategies for moving forward initiatives and identifying and resolving potential issues and/or interdependencies.
  • Build a detailed understanding of internal and external data sources and uses and utilize that knowledge to provide recommendations for how to improve data flows, enhance processes, and enhance our systems infrastructure.
  • Partner with the business and with our Systems team to implement or enhance strategic systems. Define requirements, evaluate tools, assess costs, and develop and manage implementation plans. Create and/or review cost/benefit analyses to determine whether to move projects forward. Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of project management, management consulting, or a related role within the financial services industry
  • Technologically savvy with innovative mindset and advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools, PowerBI and Power Apps.
  • Passionate about leveraging the latest technologies to improve productivity and using data to make fact-based decisions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing agendas aligned with business strategy.
  • Strong communicator with executive presence - an ability to read a room, convey a message succinctly, and tell a story effectively using tools such as MS PowerPoint.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $130,000 to $170,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
