What you will do:
As Vice President, Sales Strategist at PGIM Quantitative Solutions, you will spearhead initiatives that align with our reputation as a leading quantitative investment manager. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your role is pivotal in driving growth through strategic client segmentation, predatory marketing, and lead generation. You will be the cornerstone of our efforts to position PGIM Quantitative Solutions innovative products within the competitive landscape.
What you can expect:
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct comprehensive market analyses to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Deliver insightful reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of sales strategies and campaigns.
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the Head of Distribution to craft and enhance sales strategies targeting institutional investors.
- Analyze market trends and client needs to support our sales goals.
- Generate predatory marketing ideas / targets and position our products to sales team accordingly
- Segment clients effectively to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
- Marketing Coordination:
- Partner with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns that boost brand awareness and lead generation.
- Assist in creating customized marketing materials, including brochures and digital content, to support strategic sales objectives.
- Product Development Support:
- Produce quarterly competitor trend report, including a regularly recurring group meeting to review findings and recommended actions
- Identify news articles or key industry developments, suggesting potential implications to PGIM Quantitative Solutions or actions that should be considered by sales, product, or investment research
- Align product enhancements with market demands by collaborating with the product development team.
- Provide insights based on client feedback and rigorous market research, and support new product launches, ensuring sales teams are well-equipped and informed.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate sales strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on sales performance and market trends for senior leadership.
- Maintain dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stakeholder and Partnership Management:
- Be a subject matter expert on the quantitative competitive landscape, positioning PGIM Quantitative Solutions effectively.
- Proactively manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., Portfolio Managers) and partners.
- Maintain high visibility and engagement across all levels to ensure alignment and strategic success.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales strategy or business development within asset management, with a focus on institutional clients.
- In-depth understanding of quantitative equity and multi-asset strategies.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the aptitude to communicate complex information clearly.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of delivering impactful presentations.
- Proficient in Excel, CRM systems, and data analysis tools; familiarity with eVestment is necessary
What will set you apart?
- Master's degree, CFA, or CAIA designation
- Morningstar, Tableau, and Power BI are advantageous.
- Experience with project management and Python programming is a plus.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary range for this role is from $180,000 to $200,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. This role is also eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits including a competitive, discretionary annual cash bonus opportunity along with long term incentive awards. Eligibility to participate in the discretionary annual incentive programs are subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
