What you will do

The Global Investor Services group partners with Portfolio Management, Business Development, Fund Operations, and other groups to provide our clients, their consultants, and prospective clients with high quality reporting & accurate and timely information and analysis that is transparent and is easy to interpret. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the organization and to learn about the alternatives industry, work closely with fund portfolio teams, and be part of a collaborative global team with direct exposure servicing global institutional investors.

The Investor Services team is a client facing team and is responsible for supporting the sales and diligence efforts, managing client and fund activities, such as client onboarding, fund reporting, and client deliverables; as well as overseeing key systems that support the sales process and client experience, such as Salesforce and InvestorFlow (client portal).

This is a hybrid role, minimum three days in the office, based in one of our PGIM Real Estate Offices.

What you can expect

  • Manage investor inquiries and deliverables across several alternative investment funds.
  • Manage client onboarding and transfers, including KYC/AML reviews and ASL verification.
  • Partner with our fund administrator on TA services and the production of client deliverables.
  • Review performance reports, client statement, notices, and data requests for completion and accuracy.
  • Identify and reconcile data discrepancies to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Serve as a data steward for firm and fund data requests and coordinate with the Data Governance team.
  • Manage the investor portal and serve as a subject matter expert on the portal administration.
  • Coordinate projects and initiatives to drive efficiency across the team.
  • Track, oversee, and validate the third-party administrator's quarterly key performance indicator (KPI) for Senior Management reporting.
  • Address ad-hoc requests from Investment teams and other internal partners promptly and accurately.
  • Train and develop new team members.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in client services, portfolio analytics, investor relations, or a similar function in the investment management industry is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and scrutiny of performance data and analytics.
  • Self-starter, with strong accountability and adaptability skills, highly organized, and takes initiative with a positive attitude toward work.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with MS PowerPoint

  • Real Estate or Alternative Investment experience; previous client facing responsibilities.
  • Advanced data analytical skills and excel skills; Power BI capabilities is a plus, adding an edge to your analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with clients, external partners and senior management.
  • Experience working across functional groups and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, deadline driven dynamic environment.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $115,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
