WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be part of the Portfolio Management Team within our Cross Fund Function in Europe and work on a wide range of data management projects, interfacing with Fund Operations, Systems and Asset Management. You will be involved in various fund strategies, such as Core, Core Plus and Value-Add. You will report to the Vice President based in Munich.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Responsible for Data Management, Quality and Analytics

• Main data points include tenancy schedule data, valuations, debt & hedging, financials

• Preparation and timely delivery of a variety of quarterly fund analytics, external and internal reportings

• Maintenance and further development of reporting tools and processes

• Supporting equity raising activities with required analytics and data

• Handling of preparation and data submission process for industry groups (INREV and MSCI)

• Review and analysis of performance data

• Responsible for fund-level projections regarding returns, liquidity, risk profile, diversification, leverage, revenue, fees

• Budget planning and Cashflow analyses by using an established portfolio model

• Suitability analysis for acquisitions, underwriting of potential Real Estate acquisitions from portfolio management perspective

• Property, financial and corporate analysis as well as strategical management of Real Estates investments or targets

• Close interaction with collaboration with professionals in the various departments, such as Systems, Fund Controlling, Asset Management and Transactions

• Assistance at cross-functional and international projects

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor or master's degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field

• 1-2 years of working experience is preferred, this includes relevant internship and trainee positions during your studies. Experience in a data science or finance role or in fund reporting is a plus

• Proficient in MS Excel (please note an excel test will be administered as part of the first round interview)

• Excellent English working proficiency. German and French beneficial

• Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability

• Proficient in MS Office, including MS Power platform and advanced data base knowledge

• Demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work well under time constraints

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to convey complex data in an easy, concise and simple manner

• Self-starter and intellectually curious who pays attention to detail

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Experience in a data science or finance role or in fund reporting

• Understanding of basic real estate and finance terms and concepts

• Understanding of basic finance concepts such as NOI returns, cash flow returns, internal rate of return (IRR), present value/discounted cash flow, time weighted returns

• Knowledge of performance calculations and performance attribution methodologies

• Comfortable with large complex data sets and detangled the logics of the analysis
