What you will do
The PGIM Fixed Income product management team is responsible for the business oversight, administration, and coordination of strategic change efforts related to established commingled investment product lines such as Hedge Funds, U.S. Mutual Funds, ETFs, Collective Investment Trusts, UCITS, QIFs, and Cayman Unit Trusts.
We are currently looking for a Product Management Analyst to assist our global team. This individual will need to forge strong relationships and collaborate closely with all members of the Product Management team and the wider PGIM Fixed Income support functions, including the Client Management, Fees/Pricing, Product Development, Operations and our affiliate PGIM Investments. We are looking for a driven individual who has an innate thirst for knowledge and a can-do attitude.
This position reports to a Director, Product Management based in Newark, NJ. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is very motivated to learn/get exposed to the wide breadth of business and strategy of the PGIM Fixed Income organization.
What you can expect
- Act as a reliable resource for the Product Management team in effectively supporting fundraising efforts and resolving day-to-day client-related issues
- Assistance in completing project plans and coordinating new product launches, updates to existing fund terms or guideline, and fund liquidations
- Assist in product-improvement initiatives, including but not limited to changes to workflows, database maintenance, adaptation to new regulatory challenges, policy updates, vendor changes, etc.
- Assist in the analysis and execution of fund-related projects in collaboration with all pertinent business functions
- Timely maintenance of internal databases and educational product support materials
- Timely production of support materials for Board of Director and Trustee Meetings
- Write and distribute meeting summary and project status notes, when necessary
What you will bring
- 3+ years of experience in asset management
- Clear communication (written and verbal) with proven ability to easily collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and fixed income experience
- Understanding of the role and responsibilities of the various asset management support functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management experience and detail-orientation
- Exceptional ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Undergraduate degree required

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $95,000 to $105,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
