Prudential Annuities is currently seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join its expanding IMO distribution sales organization. The ideal candidate is a person who thrives in a vibrant, changing environment, possesses an entrepreneurial mentality, and has a desire to help real people solve real-life problems and achieve their financial goals.
As IMO Internal Sales Lead, you will be responsible for increasing revenue by creating and managing relationships with financial professionals, independent insurance agents, and IMO Marketers to help them grow their business while promoting Prudential's Fixed Indexed Annuities solutions. This role will be responsible for cultivating new IMO relationships, product education, advisor, and client profiling, as well as other related sales activities.

In this role, you will:
- Become the go-to sales associate for providing expert insight and product information to your network of IMO Marketers & financial professionals so they can effectively position Prudential solutions to their customers
- Drive sales and increase product market share through phone/ field activity and in-person meetings where appropriate
- Work alongside Prudential Sales Leadership Executives as well as the Prudential IMO Product team to help identify trends and influence product design and strategy
- Work across Prudential annuity and life enterprise to uncover additional IMO sales and partnership opportunities
- Grow, develop and manage your own territory's activities and profitability through sales execution, marketing campaigns, business plans, and customer relationship management
- Utilize telephone and web technologies to cultivate relationships with your clients by answering their questions, proactively engaging them in new opportunities, and becoming a trusted business partner
- Foster peace of mind and stability by helping people find tangible solutions to their real-world financial needs
- Leverage existing relationships within the IMO space to introduce to Prudential products and value add offerings
What you'll need:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive; willingness and ability to operate in fast pace and, at time, ambiguous environment
- Experience in the Financial Services industry with knowledge of and direct experience with retail and institutional annuities.
- 5-7 years of financial services sales experience within the IMO channel
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of annuities and related concepts
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- FINRA Series 6, 63 (or 7, 66) and State Insurance license required
- Flexibility, tactfulness, and a desire to continuously improve
- Adept at navigating ambiguous situations, demonstrating resilience, and operating in the "grey."
- 25-35% travel required

- Internal sales experience
- Understanding/experience with Salesforce.com
