Are you a self-starter with extensive marketing experience in supporting both overall business/sales development and strategic marketing plans in the retirement industry? Prudential is hiring for a Senior Retirement Marketing Strategist who will be responsible for owning and taking the lead in identifying key ideas & concepts and driving them into actionable content for our new business growth areas inclusive of the implementation of annuities within retirement plans and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Building/Entrepreneurial Mindset: Lead in building a transformational business from the ground up
  • Content Development: Lead the identification and transformation of key ideas into actionable content specifically tailored for wealth management within the retirement strategies sector.
  • Sales Understanding: Demonstrate a profound understanding of the sales process, especially within the defined contribution space, where you will proactively anticipate business needs and identify key opportunities to drive goals.
  • Annuities Knowledge: Deep expertise in annuities, with a specific focus on income products/strategies, SPIAs, DIAs, etc.
  • Collaboration: Engage extensively across Prudential's Retirement Strategies Growth Markets Business, with a specialized focus on, and knowledge of, plan sponsors and participants, ensuring effective cross-organizational collaboration - internally and externally.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Utilize data, metrics, and analytics to craft and drive engaging marketing content, establishing a strong market presence in the wealth management space with a focus on protected income.
  • Sales Marketing Programs: Develop and implement impactful sales marketing programs that are specifically designed for the defined contribution space.
  • Lead Development: Create and manage sales leads programs and omni-channel marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on performance-based marketing, tailored for plan sponsors and participants.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of extensive marketing or business experience within the retirement markets space, with a strong emphasis on the defined contribution space
  • Deep knowledge of plan sponsors and participants
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to an array of audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently lead projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate within the DC space - especially providers, plan sponsors and participants
  • Independent self-starter who takes ownership of their initiatives and projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with B2B and B2B2C
  • Excellence in developing omni channel marketing campaigns with a strong focus on performance-based marketing

It'd be a plus if you had:

  • Experience and expertise with digital marketing platforms (Adobe suite experience)
  • Experience developing segmentation strategies in highly complex market environment
  • Experience operating in an agile marketing environment

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis in our Fort Washington, PA office. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
