The expense teams within Global Planning & Analysis are modernizing our technology to empower Prudential's stakeholders, advisors and employees with tech-forward and data-enabled experiences that deliver meaningful, differentiated outcomes. As part of this journey, we have restructured into two functions; Relationship Management ("ExRM") and Expense Management Technology ("eTech"). The Relationship Management Team will serve as the single point of contact for expense-related interactions with stakeholders and leaders, support Enterprise-level expense analysis for senior leader discussions, help drive full adoption of automated reporting and analysis, and be the strategic advisor to functional areas and businesses.

In support of this journey, Prudential is seeking a highly motivated, resourceful, and skilled individual for the role of Director, Relationship Management for Global Technology & Data. This is a leadership position that will be the Finance point of contact for the Chief Technology Office (CTO) and Information Security Office (ISO) to drive strategic decision making. This individual will also collaborate with the PGIM Finance team to incorporate PGIM Tech expenses into overall Tech reporting.
This individual will provide meaningful, insightful, and actionable analytics to our business, technology, and corporate stakeholders. This will entail the development of a multi-year forecast projection of operational and strategic investments in technology for the businesses, the reporting of technology spending and outcomes against plans and business requirements, and clear and crisp articulation of opportunities, risks and challenges to business plans. This role will also work closely with the eTech team to drive continuous improvement, streamlining and automation.
What you can expect:
- Support the P&A and quarterly financial reporting functions for the CTO and ISO organizations and collaborate with the PGIM Finance team to understand and articulate the PGIM Tech expense view
- Lead the development of the multi-year Global Technology budget/forecast for these areas.
- Strategically partner with Global Technology leaders to develop insightful business plans and analytics to drive decision-making and facilitate management actions, as appropriate
- Support the identification of and drive technology expense efficiencies.
- Developing and articulating an in-depth understanding of expense drivers, accounting for capitalization of technology assets
- Partner with the eTech organization to develop automated dashboards and reporting that deliver clear and concise messages and action steps are well-defined to enable swift decision-making.
- Supporting the design and implementation of enhancements to key technology processes, including expense allocations/chargebacks
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and navigate through areas that may not be in direct line of responsibility to transform strategy into action
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in Planning and Business Analysis required.
- Prior experience with transformation and/or organizational design is preferred
- Experienced leader with ability to develop talent.
- Excellent Collaborator with communication skills that enable the ability to translate financial topics into business English in both written and verbal form.
- Discretion to deal with confidential information.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to problem solve and proactively improve upon existing processes.
- Agile and organized, structure-oriented individual with ability to appropriately prioritize and juggle many competing deliverables.
- Ability to proactively anticipate issues, provide recommendations, and communicate key issues at the right level at the right time.
- Sense of urgency - Priorities may require quick turn-around for senior preview and presentations.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $152,500.00 to $206,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
