The Role:
High Peak is a small but growing organization with evolving needs and is seeking a dynamic Director of Product to join our team. We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Director of Product to lead our product vision, strategy, and delivery. In this high-impact role, you will own the entire product lifecycle for our AI-powered solutions, from ideation to launch and iteration. You will build and manage the product roadmap, prioritize features, and lead the engineering teams to bring the product vision to life.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for creating user-centric products that solve real-world problems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, service teams, technology teams, and leadership to identify business outcomes and develop solutions aligned with our product strategy. Your goal will be to address complex business challenges, deploy innovative products, and deliver experiences that delight our customers.
In addition to deep product expertise and analytical experience, you will bring excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Your agile approach, strong business insight, inclusive leadership style, and commitment to continuous learning will be essential to your success in this role.
This position is primarily virtual with the option to visit our office in Newark, NJ as needed.
You Will:
- Lead the Product Vision: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for High Peak's suite of AI-powered products.
- Own the Product Lifecycle: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery to development, launch, and iteration.
- Drive Product Development: Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize and Execute: Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the overall product strategy.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Be Data-Driven: Define and track key product metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the product based on user feedback.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to leverage new technologies. Foster AI innovation through cutting-edge solutions.
- Be customer focused: Support go-to-market activities and ensure seamless product implementation.
Who You Are:
- Experienced Product Leader: 10+ years of experience in product management and/or technology development with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products, ideally in a startup environment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, with the ability to effectively communicate with engineers.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about the product vision, identify market opportunities, and translate them into actionable product roadmaps.
- Customer-Centric: Passionate about creating user-centric products that solve real-world problems and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure product success.
- Excellent Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial services, insurance, startups, or the public sector.
- Experience at a consulting firm
- Experience working in a startup

What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $152,500.00 to $206,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
