ABOUT NON-FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT
Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) is a construct which integrates common Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Compliance activities. This exciting position will offer a qualified individual the opportunity to gain broad understanding of business processes and develop data analytics solutions in support of NFRM's core mission; to protect Prudential's reputation and assets. As a member of the Data Analytics Shared Service Center, you will lead execution of a united strategy and work collaboratively with global technology and data partners to drive completion of data and technology projects. You will gain exposure to a breadth of areas while supporting advisory and assurance efforts across Prudential's businesses and corporate centers.

This position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence at least three-days per week.
What you can expect:
- Manage NFRM DA & AI roadmap and support the execution of new use cases to improve efficacy of risk advisory and control assurance activities.
- Bring a deep understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, give technical direction to team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day.
- Establish relationships with stakeholders in Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit to gain an understanding of key business processes, risks and controls, as well as support data resources, flow of information and ways in which information can be leveraged in the audit process.
- Drive execution of risk- and control-based metrics and scenarios from data acquisition through production implementation
- Understand data consumption layers to empower use of data to support monitoring and testing activities by control functions
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes and data modeling concepts
- Knowledge of data integration tools and technologies (eg SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Purview)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their BI-related services
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and SAS.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and/or Tableau
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to present complex information with simplicity
- Knowledge/experience in Auditing, Risk, and/or Compliance a plus
It'd be a plus if you had:
At least 10 years of experience or demonstrated expertise with the following:
- Proven track record of leading data analytics teams and projects.
- Experience in developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
- Significant experience in AI and machine learning, including implementing machine learning models and AI solutions in a business context.
What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $164,700.00 to $222,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
