Group Insurance has an exciting opportunity for a Business Process and Controls Specialist, Group Insurance to become part of the Inquiry & Resolution Team. This team plays a crucial role in implementing key initiatives aimed at improving the Group Insurance service model and its administrative practices, with the primary objective to address complex or systemic business challenges.

The Business Process and Controls Specialist, Group Insurance is an individual contributor acting as the Business Lead responsible for the development and execution of initiatives to address and resolve complex issues. You will leverage business expertise to collaborate across the organization to identify and develop solutions, consult with subject matter experts and control partners, establish effective control measures, and ensure that solutions are delivered on time and in their entirety.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Execute on initiatives designed to address complex business challenges or opportunities requiring corrective action. Develop project plans and communication, document business and control requirements, and manage timelines, resources, dependencies, and risk across all initiative activities.
  • Provide resolution governance process guidance and foster council engagement.
  • Evaluate business opportunity and operational impact. Leverage operational and project management expertise to develop consistent, risk-considerate, and customer-focused solutions and recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of goals and an initiative's alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Work closely with SMEs to gain a deep understanding of specific processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal control partners to ensure that solutions comply with organizational policies and external regulations.
  • Effectively communicate plans, progress, dependencies, and risks across cross-functional team members and leadership.
  • Implement and coach on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of quality.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency to expert skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,400.00 to $124,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
