The Associate Manager, Claim Resource Group (CRG) will have administrative responsibility for staff supporting the CRG and to ensure all aspects of the operation are handled efficiently, promoting and managing vendor relationships while providing technical expertise on disability claims.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is fully virtual. While this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office.

What you can expect:
- Provide the highest level of investigative support for a claims organization and is an expert in all aspects of claim management.
- Act as a liaison with our internal and external business partners including our claims organization, Corporate Investigations Department, vendors and legal department.
- Assist in the development and coordination of Fraud training for the claims organization and identification of potential claim misrepresentation.
- May conduct analysis of referrals received to determine if they meet investigative criteria, assigns the claim to an investigative vendor and ensures the vendor has all claim related documentation for the case.
- May prepare written reports summarizing the results of social media investigations and recommended investigative action plans.
- May perform social media reviews, database checks, and arrange for surveillance with our investigative vendors.
- May represent the company at depositions and court appearances.
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in disability claim management
- Ability to effectively coach and mentor other employees and transfer knowledge effectively
- Strong internet investigative skills and regular use of social media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of LTD contracts and complex provisions
- Demonstrated ability to review medical and other claim records, utilize resources optimally and set appropriate claim management direction
- High attention to detail and excellent critical thinking skills with strong ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies in claim information
- Ability to appropriately engage other claim management resources
- Strong prioritization, negotiation and workload management skills
- Capability to identify and implement process improvements and to organize and analyze information to ensure objectives are met

The salary range for this role is from $90,100.00 to $134,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
