This position will be a part of the Retirement Strategies New Initiatives Research and Development Pricing team which works collaboratively across a variety of functional areas to drive Annuity product innovation. This position requires a highly collaborative individual with strong quantitative skills and business acumen who can quickly pick-up concepts to work on a wide-range of projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you can expect:
- Collaborate with business partners, providing value-added pricing and analytics to help drive innovative and sustainable product development that generate customer and enterprise value
- Assess the viability of new product initiatives with appropriate analytical rigor to support prioritization and early decision making ensuring that the business is focused on valuable opportunities
- Evaluate profitability and risk profiles of viable product ideas and communicate key information to stakeholders
- Make enhancements to pricing models as necessary throughout the product development process and test production model updates related to new product features as necessary
- Ensure successful implementation/launch of new products/product enhancements
What you'll need:
- 4+ years of experience with pricing and/or Annuities products
- Experience with Fixed and/or Indexed Annuities is beneficial
- Strong quantitative modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and create
- Able to build models to assess the viability of various product, reinsurance, or other initiatives with often limited direction and/or imperfect information.
- Solid development skills, experience with Matlab and GGY is preferred.
- Business acumen to translate quantitative analytics into insights that drive business results.
- Active listening skills to understand issues and effectively collaborate with business partners.
- Able to clearly explain complex topics to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Sound judgement to prioritize and where necessary find reasonable approximations to ensure time and resources are used most efficiently.
- ASA or close to ASA preferred.

What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $115,800.00 to $172,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
