Provides administrative and secretarial support to senior executives, typically Corporate Company SVPs and or equivalent senior investment professional leadership roles. Makes decisions and recommendations based on application and analysis of accepted practices for situations not falling clearly within established rules e.g. plans and arranges conferences, develops agendas, may be division source on administrative issues. Composes and releases correspondence under supervisors signature without supervisors review. Identifies needs and typically is responsible for managing projects from beginning to end. Communicates sensitive information to senior management external sources and may often handle confidential information. May train and or supervise and or lead other secretaries and or administrative assistants. May distribute work to others and conduct performance reviews. Incumbents regularly perform a minimum of 80 percent, four of five of the following 1. Regularly and independently researches and or responds to a significant portion of the principals voicemail, email and telephone inquiries without their consultation and or review 2. Represents principals views in handling inquiries and or operates with a high degree of autonomy and independence 3. Operates with complete authority in managing principals calendar 4. Regularly prepares complex presentations and reports that are shared with the Chairman CEO, the Board of Directors, the Chairman's direct reports, Boards of other companies, the media and or senior executives of other companies which Prudential is involved with in a highly confidential manner 5. Routinely deals with, is privy to and or communicates the most confidential non public information with significant Company and external impact, i.e. information on potential and or ongoing mergers and acquisitions, or on the Company and or its activities that could surface in the media. Typically have 5 or more years of experience.
