As a dynamic and motivated Product Owner for Prudential's enterprise CRM platform, you will play a crucial role in transforming experiences and reshaping service in the insurance industry. You will work closely with stakeholders, own and manage your product's roadmap, and drive initiatives that deliver tangible value to our customers, employees, and enterprise objectives at one of the world's leading financial services institutions.

Your Team

As a Manager, Product Owner on the U.S. Business' Service Platform train, you will partner with other product owners, tech leads, designers, operations, and delivery professionals to evolve Prudential's enterprise CRM solution for our customers, financial professionals, and operations associates. Given that the platform supports a wide range of users, it is critical to embrace a strategy of building once and scaling for many to accelerate our transformation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (business functions, service and technology, and others) to identify business outcomes and solutions using innovative products, services, and experiences. In addition to being a tenacious problem-solver with strong business insights, you will bring excellent communication and teamwork skills, demonstrating inclusive leadership and a commitment to continuous learning.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis in our Newark, NJ, Minneapolis, MN, Fort Washington, PA or Shelton, CT offices as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs
  • Work closely with Experience Design teams to gain customer insights, conduct user-centric design and testing, and gather insights to inform product vision and roadmap
  • Ensure alignment of product features and stories by reviewing, providing feedback, and prioritizing user stories in line with the product vision
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads and Solution Architects to design and build modular and reusable solutions that align with enterprise strategy
  • Coordinate, plan, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions for business stakeholders
  • Communicate frequently and transparently with business stakeholders to ensure engagement and buy-in on decisions and proposed solutions
  • Lead sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master and organizational technology teams

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Experience in a Product Owner or Operations Leadership role, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) or New Way of Working (NWOW) environment; knowledge of the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to self-organize and lead independently with minimal guidance - effectively leveraging diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions based on multiple qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Familiarity with operations and contact center processes, and how they function and integrate with a CRM solution
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to tailor content to audience based on level and function (including at the executive level)
  • Demonstrated self-motivation to learn new skills and keep up with industry trends and tools
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus
  • Experience with GenAI use cases in insurance operations is a plus

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $128,100.00 to $190,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
