Within the Retirement Strategies Business, you will support the Distribution Enablement team. This group of teams focus on supporting our advisors and distribution partners with tech-forward, service and sales experiences that will enable the growth of our business.

The Role

As a Product Owner in Distribution Enablement you will partner with the Journey Analyst, CPO, and other Product Owners supporting the expansion of our key digital product: PruXpress Annuities. This platform attracts 65K unique visitors each quarter, including financial professionals, back office staff, and support staff to manage and grow the Financial Professional's book of business.

The core product ownership skills as Product Owner include expertise in balancing business needs, advisor requirements, and technical feasibility to prioritize features and initiatives effectively. You will scope feature, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and maintain your backlog in accordance with SAFe practices. What makes this role unique to others within the agile train/ journey, is a strong background in experience mapping of the advisor and end-customer journeys to identify opportunities to tailored experiences. Partnering with GT, Marketing, and the CPO, you will help influence and implement customer segmentation strategies leveraging behavior, demographic, and firmographic data. As a Product Owner, you will work closely with technology partners, UX team, and business partners to create, prioritize, and deliver the product roadmap to meet Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Required expertise:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years in digital product management, operating in an agile release train/journey, including experience working with API-based platforms to expose capabilities outside of traditional workflows
  • Understanding of predictive analytics and AI/ML models for recommendations and advisor behavior insights
  • Experience aligning personalized strategies with compliance in a regulated environment
  • MarTech tools including AEM, Target, and Adobe Analytics

Exceptional candidates will have:

  • Extensive experience in fast growing consumer facing apps that have achieved success in growth and user adoption
  • 2-4 yrs in Direct to consumer experience

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $128,100.00 to $190,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
