Social Worker Palliative Care

Join Swedish Medical Group as a full-time Behavioral Health Provider assisting the Palliative Care team at the First Hill Campus. Working with a large multidisciplinary group, you will be responsible for engaging in team-based care as part of the Palliative Care team. You will support patients to navigate the healthcare system, provide resources, as well as engage in psychotherapy for those patients who might benefit from additional emotional support. This is an innovative-care model that will provide new experiences and challenges. Join a group consisting of a MDs, ARNPs, PAs, clinic nursing staff, and system-wide behavioral health support as you enjoy a healthy work-life balance in Seattle.

  • Monday to Friday; full-time hours
  • No call
  • Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available
  • LICSW, LMHC or LMFT certification required
  • Previous work experience in Palliative Care preferred, but not required
  • Compensation is between $35.11 and $46.43 per hour
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers will have CME benefits available to them.
  • Comprehensive benefits include health, vision, dental and retirement

Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus is a 697-bed, general medical and surgical hospital in downtown Seattle. The largest of Swedish's five hospitals, First Hill is considered the main Swedish campus. In addition to the hospital and emergency department, the campus is home to the Swedish Cancer Institute and the Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The hospital provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including the area's largest childbirth center, NICU and specialty pediatric care.
