Role Description
Podium is looking for a dynamic leader to transform our Go-To-Market (Sales & Marketing) Operations teams. Podium seeks to streamline and scale how we interact with local businesses and the Director of GTM Operations will play a critical role in replacing manual processes with automation, improving the experience and capabilities of our Sales and Marketing team members, integrating insight throughout the acquisition funnel, and collaborating broadly across the business to develop and execute strategies to drive sustainable growth.
What you will be doing:
- Playing a leading role in planning, resource allocation, territory management, lead generation/routing and the full spectrum of Sales and Marketing Operations activities
- Using data to find leverage and using tools, process, training, and enablement to capture value throughout the revenue lifecycle
- Making connections and developing strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, IT/Business Applications, Data Science, and beyond to identify and develop solutions that allow Podium to grow its business faster
- Leading and developing a team of high-performing, high-potential Revenue Operations team members
- Influencing strategy for who we target, what channels we use, and how we leverage them to generate maximum LTV
- Working closely with a team of talented, committed, and collaborative professionals
What you should have:
- 8+ years of relevant business experience (e.g. Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Biz Ops, Revenue Management, Revenue Ops) and3+ years of people management experience
- Ability to think systematically, connect the dots, and identify creative solutions both in the short and long term
- Demonstrated ability to use data to confidently make effective decisions with the willingness to react quickly as circumstances change (SQL proficiency a plus)
- Strong executive presence, presenting to large groups, effective communication and influence skills
