As a Sr. Business Analyst within PNC's Financial Systems Organization, housed within the Office of the Corporate Controller organization, you can sit in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.

Functional Overview :
• Oversight : Ensure Frontier Reconciliation application, reports, processes, and controls are in accordance with PNC Reconcilement Standards and Polices
• Leadership : Work and communicate extensively with PNC Service partners (LOB CFO Designates, Recon areas, Audit, Risk, FGO) to ensure compliance with reconcilement processes and standards
• Reporting : Create, export, and/or present monthly statistics to Finance, Risk, Audit, and end users' teams concerning number of enhancements, status or projects, consolidation of reconcilement tools, and automation of manual reconciliations
• Compliance : Notify the appropriate levels of Management of any Reconciliation area that is not compliant with reconciliation standards and serve as a point of contact to help address and resolve non-compliant issues with PNC Reconcilement Standards and Polices
• Technology and Governance : Opportunity to consolidate the number of reconciliation tools by building new reconciliations and transitioning existing reconciliation onto Frontier platform creating operational efficiencies. Streamline and update governance (policy and procedures) to strengthen PNC Standard / Controls.

Business Function Support :
• Support testing and sign-off of reconcilement changes due to new products, GL accounts, cost centers, and changes to data attributes
• Work with business teams to review business requirements, develop, and test new reconciliations
• Escalate and coordinate resolution of production issues with our business and technology partners
• Assist and support reconcilers with their business and reconciliation report / tool questions
• Coordinate, review, and certify end user access
• Support quarterly application certification processes, Audit, and Risk, and Finance Governance Office (FGO) requests

Project Work :
• Gather end user business requirements
• Provide input on design and technology solution to meet business and functional reconciliation requirements
• Develop and build new reconciliations using Frontier Recon platform based on business requirements
• Participate in testing process to certify functionality meets business requirements
• Coordinate implementations of new business reconciliation solution
• Establish controls to insure completeness and accuracy
• Assist with project to replace monthly Account Certification process relate to General Ledger reconciliations

Job Description
  • Directs in the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements, and participates in the development and review of processes and procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting.
  • Provides consultation to clients on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project management. Develops and maintains of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
  • Independently obtains and identifies the business requirements needed to carry out and improve applicable business processes. Provides expertise and problem-solving for clients and technology teams throughout the business analysis process.
  • Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with stakeholders and technology teams on moderately complex business requirements, provides gap analysis and facilitates future business process modeling for clients.
