As a Head of Marketing Analytics within PNC's Chief Operating Officer's organization, you will be based in PNC's footprint. You will also be part of the Chief Marketing Officer's leadership team and work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and other LOB leaders.

This role is a critical member of the team leading a multi-year transformation journey for our marketing organization to support and sustain PNC's brand momentum aligned with our business goals. The position's strategic focus will be on brand equity and marketing mix modeling (primary focus), budget optimization, and customer lifetime value forecasting. On the operational side you will focus on optimization of audience selection, campaign measurement, and turning data into actionable insights. Other primary responsibilities include the following.

• Lead the development of data-driven strategies and advanced analytics models to drive marketing effectiveness.
• Analyze marketing campaigns across channels and programs to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth audience analysis to enhance targeting strategies.
• Serve as a strategic thought leader, influencing marketing investments and allocation based on analytics and insights.
• Serve as the primary point person to derive insights for marketing optimization and tell the story.
• Collaborate with Marketing to define goals and measure Marketing impact to the business. Support the design and execution of Marketing test-and-learn capabilities at scale.
• Focus on data domains and building marketing data infrastructure across applications and enterprise.
• Build a high-performing Marketing Analytics team, developing modern skillsets needed across analytical and marketing domain expertise.
• Partner across Marketing, Analytics, LOBs, Finance and Technology to influence partner investments and roadmaps in support of Marketing investment to deliver business impact.

The following experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of direct mail marketing and digital marketing.
• Advanced knowledge of analytics including LTV modeling and customer segmentation and experience in random and non-random experiments.
• Proficient with dashboard design.
• Python and SQL programming skills.

Job Description
  • Directs the strategic design, management, and implementation of an enterprise-wide business analytics programs to drive customer solutions, service innovation and profitability.
  • Overseeing data integration, data analytics, and predictive modeling processes to meet business requirements .
  • Supervises the research, development and implementation of new and emerging analytics technologies; leads technology-based business opportunities.
  • Directs implementation mechanisms for ensuring that information provided is accurate, meaningful, has integrity, and caters to the needs of the senior leadership.
  • Directing, motivating, developing and managing the performance of the management team and key staff.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree and higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications. Industry -relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
