A Sr Manager of Product Operations drives high-priority initiatives such as Operating Framework Best Practices, Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) Best Practices, and Product Development University (PDU) Reboot. They will play a crucial role in the development and management of Pluralsight's software product! They are passionate about business impact and truly understand how to build a product operations muscle that empowers our team members to do their best work!

What you'll do:

  • Ensure scalable, effective business processes
  • Provide business administration of the department tech stack
  • Manage department-wide changes and communication plans
  • Maintain templates, references, and resources for product managers
  • Analyze and evaluate the feasibility and relevance of proposed complex products and services - and develop and amend as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues. May also be responsible for supervising activities performed by a product development or specialist team.
  • Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
  • Develop straightforward business cases to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.
  • Performance Analysis: establish, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPI) to evaluate the success of product initiatives and identify areas of improvements

Experience you'll bring:

An ability to work independently and provide guidance and training to others regarding the following; analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making, to orient the seller's organization around delivering to the key needs of their customers, maintaining high performance while applying a change mindset to the planning, execution and monitoring of business activities during times of change.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in highly technical field
  • Background in product operations, product management, or operational role that worked closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced, growth SaaS company
  • Proven experience as a cross-functional leader in support of company initiatives, business partners, and stakeholders
  • Skilled at creating, implementing, and/or driving product development lifecycle (PDLC) standards and best practices at scale
  • Proficient with business systems and tools (Jira, Confluence, Workboard, Aha!, Salesforce, etc.)

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
  • BS degree or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field or hands on experience in technical roles

Travel Requirements

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. The annual US base salary range for this role is $104,000 - $128,400 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
