Summary:

We are seeking a Director of FP&A to join our team and help us drive strategic finance initiatives and transform the way we inform business decisions. Reporting to the Vice President FP&A, Corporate, this person will work closely with senior finance leadership including the CFO. Further, this person will continue to create and improve the financial modeling used to support the business. We're looking for someone with experience in FP&A, financial model building, and experience coordinating and collaborating on various cross-functional projects.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for managing and improving the company's cash forecasting, rolling long-range operating modeling, and fully integrated 3-statement financial models
  • Build and maintain growth and investment planning models and drive ad-hoc scenario analysis to support executive and functional decision-making
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to identify initiatives and investments that can positively impact the company's financial outlook
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of key business drivers across business functions and forge meaningful relationships with senior finance and cross-functional leaders
  • Create external and executive ready presentations in Google Slides
  • Partner with data, and Anaplan model building teams to improve and create new Anaplan builds that automate regularly used FP&A models

Experience you'll bring:

  • Ability to operate independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
  • Analytical mindset to draw insights from data, deep dive into operational drivers, and influence business decisions
  • Advanced level of proficiency developing financial models and consolidated forecasts, using both bottoms-up and top-down approaches, from scratch in MS Excel / G Suite
  • Strong proficiency with fully integrated 3-Statement financial models
  • Excellent communication skills and experience creating board level and management ready presentations. Strong ability to work with and present to senior leadership.
  • Attention to detail, due to the nature of the role and reporting visibility. Ability to appropriately evaluate and safeguard sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of SaaS drivers and metrics preferred, but not required
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office/G Suite, and experience with Anaplan, Snowflake, NetSuite, and Tableau is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of progressive experience across financial planning and analytical roles including experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, equity research or other strategic finance roles, preferably with experience in the SaaS space
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or other analytics-related fields

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
