Job Description:
We are seeking an International Director of Accounting to partner with the accounting leadership team to lead our world-class international accounting team through the next phase of our Company's journey. This person will oversee the accounting activities for our various international subsidiaries, including month-end close procedures, recurring journal entries and reconciliations, annual statutory audits and the related financial statements, and people leadership of our international accounting team members based in Ireland and India. This person will also partner with other teams in the department to ensure that international accounting policies are being considered, adopted and applied appropriately. This person will lead any other ad hoc and special projects pertaining to international accounting that arise.

What you'll do:
- Lead the monthly accounting close process for our international subsidiaries
- Lead the international accounting team members as their people and functional leader
- Oversee the annual statutory audits of our international subsidiaries, including preparing the annual international standalone financial statements
- Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with the international accounting standards of the foreign subsidiaries
- Evaluate accounting issues related to non-routine and complex transactions, conducting research to identify applicable accounting guidance
- Maintain an effective control environment, both financial and operational
- As necessary, assist in or lead special projects
- Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required
Experience you'll bring:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
Requirements:
- CPA equivalent required
- Masters degree in accounting or finance level of education from an accredited university
- 5-7 years of accounting experience; 2-5 years Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Prior successful management experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with multi-national companies, namely US-based businesses with operations in India and Ireland
- Financial reporting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel

Travel Requirements
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis.
