Flexible Work Arrangement: Hybrid

PJM plays an essential role in ensuring the reliability of the electricity grid covering over 65 million people in the Eastern Interconnection. PJM runs the US's largest competitive wholesale electricity market that looks forward to incorporate the everchanging energy landscape, adapting to the growing demand for electricity, new regulatory policies, and the clean energy transition. PJM is at the forefront in innovating new business roles, processes, and tools to ensure the lights stay on in an economical and reliable manner.
Electric power transmission and generation has evolved substantively since its inception, to the creation of PJM in 1927, to the Eastern Interconnection of today. Renewables and Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs) are creating new variables and challenges for transmission system planning and reliability analysis, as we look to further the evolution into tomorrow. The Outage Analysis Technologies team is responsible for advancing some of the most critical business analysis and coordination tools within the organization, aiding engineers, analysts and PJM Control Room staff in streamlining their workflow while expanding PJM Operations reliability point of view.
