About the Role:

The Marketing department at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments to grow and retain our client base. The GTM Campaigns team is comprised of new sales, customer marketing, and international campaign managers. They develop and continually execute our go-to-market approach in collaboration with channel owners and stakeholders to generate demand, engage and renew customers, and ultimately grow market share with our platform and data offerings.

PitchBook’s Go-To-Market (GTM) Campaigns Intern works to support GTM Campaigns team in the development, launch, and optimization of full-funnel campaigns. A GTM Campaigns Intern will participate in the end-to-end campaign production, execution, and measurement against business objectives. They will work with channel partners across the Marketing organization and key external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment. Our Summer Internship is a full–time program (40 hours per week) running from June – August 2025 (specific dates vary by office location).  Please note, at this time PitchBook does not provide relocation assistance for our internships.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategy discussions with internal and external stakeholders and campaign brief-in processes 
  • Serve as project manager for a variety of full-funnel campaign tactics, collaborating with stakeholders, reviewing assets in concert with campaign managers, and ensuring that projects stay on schedule 
  • Ensure effective and timely hand-off of deliverable between teams by consistently moving campaign tactics forward with channel owners after campaign assets have been completed in Creative 
  • Measure the performance of campaigns across benchmarks and KPIs. Recommend optimizations to improve performance where necessary 
  • Create a proposed brief for an evergreen campaign program to engage student-license types. This should include but not be limited to conducting audience discovery and research to understand the specific needs and behaviors of this segment, validating this approach with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, and establishing measurable campaign metrics to track engagement and effective over time 
  • Meet with at least one representative from each of the teams within the Marketing department to learn how the various roles and responsibilities intersect 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a junior in a higher education program (college or university): Marketing, Business, and related majors preferred
  • To be considered for the intern position, applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. PitchBook will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status). The company may in its sole discretion extend your contract for a further fixed term period(s) to be agreed by you and the Company

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and trends 
  • Interest in gaining B2B marketing experience 
  • Interest in collaborating across a large Marketing department 
  • Prior collaboration or project management experience working across teams 
  • Enjoy working with a team, but can also work independently 
  • Ability to communicate multi-faceted campaigns and strategies to stakeholders 
  • Asana experience preferred, but any project management tool experience welcome 
  • Understanding of CRMs and marketing automation platforms preferred 
  • Detail oriented, curious, and innovative 
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Compensation

  • Annual hourly rate: $22/hour

 

Working Conditions:

We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 5 days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis througAhout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
