About the Role:
Revenue Operations is responsible for driving financial success through creating, maintaining, and continually improving the operations, platforms and intelligence that support our go-to-market teams. This team works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the customer journey, from lead generation to revenue recognition. Revenue Operations is a pivotal partner in helping our go-to-market teams achieve their revenue goals.
As a Data Analyst at PitchBook, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and optimize marketing performance. You will utilize data sourced from various repositories, including Snowflake as part of our Enterprise Data Platform (and associated data products), to construct insightful dashboards, reports, and analytics products tailored to address specific questions and uncover actionable insights. Your focus will be on understanding and interpreting key metrics and KPIs within the marketing domain, empowering stakeholders with visibility into performance, and facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Translate complex datasets into understandable insights for stakeholders
- Design and develop purpose-built dashboards and reports to track marketing metrics and KPIs. Ensure accuracy, relevance, and accessibility of reporting tools for end-users
- Generate actionable insights from data analysis to drive marketing strategy and campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
- Support monitoring of marketing initiative and campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending optimization strategies
- Ensure the integrity and quality of marketing data by implementing data governance best practices Conduct regular audits and validations to maintain data accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance, to align data analysis efforts with business objectives. Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders effectively
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of data analysis in marketing, business intelligence, or revenue generating unit
- 1+ year of SQL
- 1+ year of data visualization in Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc
- 1+ year of statistical analysis in Python, R, or other programming language
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of marketing concepts and metrics, including ROI, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets. Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $90,000-$100,000
- Target annual bonus percentage: 10%
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 4+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
