ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU’LL

  • Contribute to Accounts Receivable operations, including but not limited to applying cash receipts, reconciling customer accounts, and strategically managing outstanding and aging AR balances
  • Perform timely data imports between billing and ERP systems
  • Address customer inquiries in collaboration with the Customer Experience team
  • Assist with month-end close processes, including performing bank reconciliations and processing journal entries
  • Contribute to the development of company-wide policies to support business operations
  • Support our monthly process to remit payments to channel partners, building managers, and vendors/suppliers
  • Support financial audits by providing requested documentation and information
  • Conduct cost analyses and assist with various ad hoc accounting tasks and projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on variations in team workflows

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA a plus)
  • 1+ years of Accounting-related experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP accounting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships both internal and external
  • Demonstrated team player; fosters a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, take initiative and work within deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Elementary or better proficiency with mid-tier ERP systems (Sage Intacct) is a plus
  • Experience with payroll processing is a plus
