Job Description
The Technical Support Engineer is responsible is responsible for following defined procedures and methodologies to install, configure, test, maintain and support hardware and software solutions for our Advanced Visualization and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
Your role:
- The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for researching and determining root cause(s) for issues and providing technical support for our Advanced Visualization and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
- Receives, registers, and provides technical service to the requests or problems coming in from all escalation channels and communicates solutions, actions or root cause acting in accordance with our regulatory guidelines.
- Solutions are provided by using remote and onsite diagnostics, troubleshooting techniques, service technical information or knowledge, work orders creating service and keeping the internal customer informed of the service status.
- Handles complaints (safety & non-safety related) & Escalations to ensure accurate and timely analysis, registration, and action.
- Develops Action Plans for Escalations and ensures acceptance from the customer.
- Elevates most severe escalations to Senior Leadership for awareness and support, both in BU and market

- Education: 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field with Engineer/Network Engineer/Microsoft Certifications desired
- Minimum 6 years of related experience with 2+ years prior experience in a remote support customer facing role. Prior experience with Medical Support is highly desired.
- Strong experience administering VMware solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL queries, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Server, VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix and Microsoft SQL, as well as HP storage: Scality, and 3PAR.
- Competent in IT/Network diagnosis/system connectivity/Remote service essential.
- Ability to travel as needed for onsite client visits

Philips Transparency Details
The base pay range for this position is $57,120 - $97,920. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
