How You Will Achieve It
- As an HVAC Verification and Certification Technician you will coordinate testing with the different area owners according to the established schedule, escort and support an outside contractor for testing and process test documentation.
- Perform testing in emergency situations as needed to support differential pressure alarms, testing after motor changeouts and execute airflow pattern studies.
- Willing to be developed through education and training opportunities and expanded roles within the department.
- Manage calibrations and supplies for the validation/verification laboratory and testing equipment.
- Assist HVAC Verification/Certification lead to expand in-house testing of manufacturing cleanrooms to reduce cost and make the process more flexible for the operations teams.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Mechanical engineering, Diploma in Heating Airconditioning and Refrigeration, NSF/ANSI accreditation for Class II biohazard cabinetry or other industry related certification or a minimum of 5 years working in the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, biosafety cabinetry testing or cleanroom environment experience.
- Clear understanding of the operation of Air Handling systems
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environments.
- Strong organizational skills, capacity to identify and resolve problems as a team member or individually
- Adaptive and receptive to changing priorities and assignments
- Competency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio Drawing program)
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to enter and navigate cleanroom type environments in manufacturing facilities.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Schedule is primarily day shift, but at times it will be necessary to work additional times to support emergency manufacturing needs (either onsite or remote)
Work Location Assignment: On Premise
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64 600,00 to $107 600,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7,5% of the base salary.
